Fixed dome skylights
Fixed dome-type skylights, installed in the roof, are designed to provide natural daylight during the day, leading to energy savings for lighting inside single-level buildings (hypermarkets, malls, logistics facilities, production halls, theaters, schools, etc.). This is achieved through cellular polycarbonate glazing of various thicknesses and types: opaque or transparent.
Continuous Skylights / Strip Skylights
Strip or continuous skylights are light strips with a semicircular cross-section and variable lengths depending on project requirements, designed to provide natural daylight during the day.
The upper part consists of an aluminum structure fitted with cellular polycarbonate glazing of various thicknesses and types: opaque or transparent, manufactured in Germany or Switzerland, while the skylight’s mounting base is made of galvanized steel with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.
Roof access hatches
Roof access hatches are movable domes that allow access to a building’s roof from inside the building.
The hatch is equipped with gas struts and cellular polycarbonate glazing of various thicknesses and types: opaque or transparent.
What are skylights?
Skylights are effective solutions for providing natural light in interior spaces, helping to reduce electricity consumption. They are installed in the roof and allow sunlight to enter directly. There are two main types: fixed dome skylights, ideal for industrial or commercial spaces, and continuous (strip-type) skylights, suitable for large halls or buildings with expansive areas. Both options provide uniform lighting, improve visual comfort, and can be adapted to various architectural requirements. Welkins skylights are a sustainable choice for modern buildings.
What are roof access hatches?
Roof access hatches are essential elements in buildings where safe and easy access to the roof is required for maintenance, inspections, or technical work. They feature a sturdy, thermally insulated, and weatherproof cover that can be opened manually or automatically. The hatches can be seamlessly integrated into the roof structure without compromising insulation or weather protection. They are available in various sizes and materials, tailored to the type of roof—flat or sloped. Welkins roof hatches offer a practical, safe, and durable solution for easy access to industrial, commercial, or residential roofs.
